FAQ

DO PARTICIPANTS NEED TO BRING AN OBOE AND BASSOON?

Yes, ideally educators would borrow instruments from their schools to use during the workshop. If this is not possible, please contact us and we can try to accommodate your instrument needs.

WHAT LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE IS THE WORKSHOP GEARED TOWARD?

We accommodate all levels! Whether you've been educating for 30 years or if you've just started your undergraduate music ed degree, we believe you'll benefit from the seminar! We meet everyone at their own double reed playing level!

WHAT DOES MY REGISTRATION FEE COVER?

Your registration fee of $100 covers a professional-handmade oboe reed and bassoon reed ($60 value), a Double Talk mug (which will double as your reed-soaker for the seminar, a handbook of double reed resources, and lunch on the day of the seminar.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Because we must purchase materials and make reeds, participants who need to cancel are entitled to a full refund up until 2 weeks before the workshop. At that point we cannot offer a refund, but we can apply the registration fee to a later seminar.
